* The diagnosis of benign lesions is made by the dermatologist when the lesion does not pose a danger to the health of the patient.
** Please note that all excision techniques are likely to leave a scar.

**** If you believe that the amounts claimed from you are for insured services within the limits of the Health Insurance Act, you may, in writing, up until five years after the date of payment, claim a reimbursement from the Régie de l'assurance maladie du Quebec, which will then refund the amount when it is determined that its billing was not allowed and recover the amount from the professional or third party involved.
